Chef Giuseppe Agostino is a celebrated culinary artist known for his refined approach to modern Italian cuisine. Born and raised in Italy, he trained in some of the country’s most prestigious Michelin-starred kitchens, mastering traditional techniques and deepening his connection to authentic Italian flavors. His talent and dedication earned him a prominent role as one of the executive chefs at New York City’s acclaimed Del Posto, where he helped shape a dining experience that set new standards in Italian fine dining. Currently, he serves as Executive Chef at Maiella in Long Island City, where he is committed to creating authentic yet contemporary Italian dishes that delight and inspire every guest. In addition to his work at Maiella, Chef Agostino is also the owner of Verana, a modern Italian restaurant in Norwood, New Jersey. His culinary journey is defined by a deep respect for tradition, an eye for innovation, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences rooted in elegance, simplicity, and soul.
