Heritage Southern Indian Cuisine

Semma is a celebration of Southern India, unfiltered, unaltered, and unapologetically bold. From the acclaimed team behind Unapologetic Foods (Dhamaka, Adda), Semma brings to life the rich culinary traditions of Tamil Nadu through the lens of Chef Vijay Kumar’s personal story.

Here, the food is deeply rooted in memory, from the rustic kitchens of village homes to the slow rhythms of farm life. Every dish honors the authenticity of South Indian flavors, using regional ingredients rarely seen on American plates. At Semma, spice isn’t a trend, it’s a tradition. Each plate carries the soul of a region, layered with intensity, depth, and reverence.

With a warm, vibrant atmosphere and a kitchen that cooks from the heart, Semma offers an experience that’s as transportive as it is unforgettable. It’s not just Southern Indian cuisine, it’s Southern Indian identity, served one fantastic dish at a time.
